HOLYFRAG
Contact, reports and appeals
Last updated:
Contact HolyFrag privately about your account, personal information, harmful or unlawful content, copyright, or a moderation decision. You can use this route even if you are signed out or your account is suspended.
Email the operator
Email hello@holyfrag.com. HolyFrag is operated by Lukasz Czapiewski in the United Kingdom. We can handle messages in English or Polish.
Include the relevant account name or content URL, what happened, and what you want us to do. Give us a reply address if it differs from the address you use to contact us. Do not send your password, sign-in link, unnecessary identity documents or unrelated personal information.
Privacy, account closure and data requests
Use the subject “Privacy request” and explain whether you want access, a copy or export, correction, deletion, account closure, restricted processing or to object. You do not need legal wording or a forum account to make a request. We may need proportionate identity checks before disclosing or changing private account data.
These requests are handled manually. We respond without undue delay, normally within one month for data-rights requests, and explain any lawful extension or refusal. Account closure and removal of public contributions are assessed separately, taking account of your rights, other participants and any records we must lawfully keep.
Report harmful or unlawful content
When signed in, you can use the private Report link on a topic. You can also email us without signing in. Include the exact URL, identify the part of the content concerned, and explain why it is harmful, unlawful or breaches the rules. Where relevant, tell us the country or law involved and provide supporting information.
For copyright or other intellectual-property concerns, identify your work or right, the allegedly infringing content and its URL, your relationship to the rights holder, and a way to contact you. Confirm that your report is made in good faith and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Please do not attach harmful or unlawful files when a URL and description will identify them.
We use reports to investigate and take proportionate action. Reports are not public, but limited information may need to be shared to resolve the issue fairly or comply with law. This inbox is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service in their location.
Ask a person to review a decision
Use the subject “Moderation appeal”. Include your account name, the content URL or decision you are challenging, why you disagree and any useful context. You may appeal a hidden post or suspension and raise a concern about an AI translation or review.
A person reviews appeals. We consider the content, context and rules, and explain the outcome. We aim to acknowledge ordinary reports and appeals promptly and prioritise serious safety concerns, but do not promise a fixed turnaround for every case. You can reply with additional relevant information or ask for an update.
